This is Jenks football coach Allan Trimble's first week back at practice since announcing over the summer that he has ALS. The Trojan squad was up bright and early Tuesday morning for the first of two morning practice sessions.
We asked Coach Trimble how he's feeling now that he's back on the field after an emotional summer.
"I've always had insomnia the night before it all starts. I still get worked up, and none of that has really changed," he said. "But it feels good to be out here working with kids and great coaches. It's my passion."

Trimble says he's just trying to enjoy one day at a time. Staying busy and doing things he's passionate about has helped sooth some of the shock he's felt since he got the diagnosis.
"There for a while, the waves were pretty tall and pretty often and crashing over. Now, the waves are a little bit further apart," Trimble said.
The Trojans' first game is August 26th at Owasso.
