One person is dead after a crash involving a semi truck on the Will Rogers Turnpike north of Vinita. Troopers tell us the crash involved a semi and three other vehicles just before 10 p.m. Sunday.
A driver stopped to help, and that person was the one killed, according to dispatchers.
Troopers said Eric Sean Fulfer, 26, was eastbound on the turnpike and became distracted by something inside his semi truck. He hit a Freightliner from behind. That semi lost control and hit the center wall, spilling a load of pipes onto east and westbound lanes.
Two westbound vehicles - including a third semi - crashed after hitting the debris.
Fuller was taken to the hospital where he is said to be stable with numerous injuries. Everyone in a vehicle was wearing seat belts.
The crash itself is cleared, but crews are still on scene cleaning up after the accident Monday morning.
