Inmate Who Walked Away From Tulsa County Jail Found

An inmate who walked away from the Tulsa County jail Thursday morning has been found.

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said Henry Williams Givens Jr. was apprehended by deputies and is back in jail.

TCSO spokesman Justin Green says Henry Givens was on a work detail, taking out the trash when he walked away.

Green said Givens was apprehended by the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Jail Criminal Investigation Unit at 601 East 52nd Place North.

The 48-year-old was being held without bond after pleading guilty in late July on a larceny charge. In addition, Green said Givens was charged with escape from a detention facility, with bond at $50,000.
