Oklahoma City Thunder Plan 'Major Announcement' At News Conference

The Oklahoma City Thunder say they are planning to make a “major announcement” at a news conference Thursday afternoon.

The news conference will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. NewsOn6.com plans to live-stream the news conference.

On Wednesday, ESPN reported that the Thunder and Westbrook have agreed in principle to a contract extension. The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting the deal is expected to be a three-year $85 million extension.
