Tulsa County Sheriff Vic Regalado visited the White House to talk to the president over the weekend.
President Obama asked Sheriff Regalado and other law enforcement officers from across the country, to attend a task force meeting about policing in the 21st century.
"I was honored to have been in attendance," Sheriff Regalado said. "It's not every day you get to meet the President of the United States."
President Obama started the task force back in 2014, to come up with ideas to strengthen trust between law enforcement and the community.
