The Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests connected to a missing hiker.
Sheriff Ron Lockhart said, Tuesday, deputies arrested Blake Shamblin, 25, Tyler Leverett, 22, and Michael Snelling, 22, for first-degree murder.
The arrests were made as deputies continue to search for Matthew Fagan at Tenkiller Lake near Cato Creek.
Fagan was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on June 21 near Cato Creek.
Authorities say he was hiking with three other people but decided to go back to the car before his friends. When the others returned, he wasn’t there.
As they investigate, Lockhart said stories of people hiking with Fagan were not adding up.
