The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Claremore man is in a Tulsa hospital in critical condition after a dirt bike crash in Rogers County.

Troopers said the crash happened at 8:45 p.m. Friday near the intersection of county roads NS 4160 and EW 450, north of Claremore.

The OHP report states Justin Dietzfeld, 23, was headed south on a 2015 Honda 250R dirt bike when he lost control, went off the road and hit a fence.

Dietzfeld was flown to a Tulsa hospital with head, leg and arm injuries.

The OHP says the cause of the crash was unsafe speed.  The report also stated Dietzfeld was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
