Fatal ATV Crash In Pittsburg County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an Oklahoma City man was killed in an ATV crash late Friday in Pittsburg County.

Troopers said the crash happened just after 11:30 p.m. on Deer Run Lane north of Longtown.

The OHP report says a 2012 Polaris Ranger ATV, driven by 35-year-old Lemuel Finlay was traveling north when a speaker fell inside his ATV, causing Finlay to brake hard, veer left and overcorrect to the right.  The ATV roll onto its side, pinning Finlay.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger, Adam Bieger, 37, also of Oklahoma City was not injured.
