The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called in after a fatal Delaware County shooting early Friday.
The OSBI says the shooting happened at 1 a.m. in a home south of Afton on Highway 125.
The sheriff's office said it got a 911 call from a man who said he had accidentally shot his girlfriend. Deputies and medical personnel arrived and took Natalie Short to a Grove hospital where she was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound.
They said deputies arrested a David Alan Price, 56, for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
