A Tulsa business that began in one man's basement in Broken Arrow is bringing new jobs and its headquarters to downtown.
Jackson Technical, a computer and communications support company, broke ground on its new building at 6th and Elgin Wednesday.
The almost 19,000 square-foot office and training center will offer more room for new employees.
"We're really excited to have our own place - to have fun," said Tim Jackson, Jackson Technical owner. "To work hard and to play hard."
Jackson Technical used to be housed in the Atlas Life and Philtower buildings but outgrew those spaces. The announcement comes as other Tulsa businesses - like Ross Group and Hogan Assessments have moved their headquarters to Downtown Tulsa.
