The City of Tulsa has installed "low flying owls" warning signs in one neighborhood.
The signs are in reference to a pair of barred owls that has taken up residence in a tree nearby.
The pair, Owlbert and Sofie, were named by the Sonoma Midtown Neighborhood Association. It set up a streaming webcam and created a Facebook page to follow the pair.
The owls raised a brood of three chicks this year. The young owls are learning to fly and the neighbors are worried about them being hit by cars.
They contacted the city which agreed to put up the signs because the owls are protected raptors.
