A four vehicle crash backed up the westbound lanes of Tulsa's Broken Arrow Expressway at Memorial for several miles Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened in the inside westbound lanes of the expressway where police had closed several lanes.
Police said a driver trying to squeeze into traffic in a construction zone caused the crash.
They said traffic was slowing for construction near Memorial when a driver tried to merge and hit another car, which set off a chain reaction crash.
Police said no one was hurt.
Officers said they gave the driver who caused the crash a ticket for an unsafe lane change and arrested another driver for outstanding warrants.
