It's a bit much for a Father's Day gift, but if you're looking for a new home, there’s an auction going on for the 17,000 square foot House of Four Seasons.
Auctioneer Leroy Hendron hoped to coax an opening bid befitting the house's 17,000 square feet of 17th century inspired architecture.
While the bidders were getting their courage up. I headed to the master suite and found Laura Hawkins, who knows a lot about the house
"The master suite has a sitting area, a Four Seasons room, then we come back here, this is her bathroom area with several closets," she said.
I think I counted five.
On those house hunter shows, folks are always concerned about the master suite and closets. Well, over on the "his" side is another closet and a full bath.
There's also a spa room with a big Jacuzzi.
"This is a habitat room, one of two I'm aware of in Tulsa," Hawkins said.
It’s all part of 19 rooms, including five bedrooms, six full baths, and three half baths.
Auctioneer Dan Kruse said, "The high bid, $2,250,000 is the bid that is the highest we could get today."
And, at last report, that wasn't high enough, so it's still out there.
And, of course, there's a pool.
You can see more of the mansion here.
