OHP: Man Riding In Pickup Bed Killed In Wagoner County DUI Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 32-year-old Muskogee man died after a DUI pickup crash in Wagoner County Friday evening.

Troopers said the crash happened just after 7:20 p.m. on North 50th Street East just north of East 115th Street North near the community of Okay.

The OHP says a 2002 Ford Ranger pickup, driven by John Rhodes, 22, of Muskogee lost control when he was making a left turn and rolled the truck.

A passenger, Kenneth Foster, also of Muskogee who was riding in the truck's bed was thrown out and pinned underneath the pickup  He was taken to a Muskogee hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Rhodes and two other passengers, Lacy Munn, 26, of Muskogee and Justin Monholland, 22, of Fort Gibson  were taken to hospitals in Tulsa and Muskogee.

The OHP reports states the driver had been drinking.  They said no one inside the pickup was wearing seat belts when it crashed.
