Police Call Off High-Speed Tulsa Chase For Safety Concerns

Police called off a high-speed Tulsa chase early Thursday due to safety concerns.  

That chase which eventually wound its way onto Interstate 44 near Highway 75 was caught on News On 6's traffic cameras at around 4 a.m.

Police say officers attempted to stop a car in the 7300 block of East 57th Street near Memorial Drive, but the driver took off. Police chased the car on city streets before getting on I-44.  That's the part of the chase we caught on video.

Police did not say what prompted officers to stop the car.
