Urban Planner Hired To Analyze Downtown Tulsa Growth Potential

A study aimed at improving downtown Tulsa's walkability got the green light on Wednesday.

The Downtown Coordinating Council voted to hire urban planner Jeff Speck to analyze the growth potential for downtown.

Speck's hiring comes with a $70,000 price tag.

The DCC hopes to raise that money by the end of the summer through public and private partnerships.
