Police say a Tulsa woman wanted for failing to appear in court on a DUI charge was arrested again on the same complaint late Wednesday, and this time a young child was found in her car.

Bixby Police say an officer stopped Saunya Mae English's car after he saw it run a stop sign at 121st and Garnett.

The officer arrested the 33-year-old after she admitted to smoking marijuana and finding a 6-year-old child in her car.

Police booked English into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of DUI, Child Endangerment, Drug Possession and Failure to Stop.  Jail records show she has a court appearance for June 3.

Court records show a judge had issued a bench warrant for Saunya English after she failed to show up for a court appearance on an April 2016 DUI charge.

Police say the child was in a back seat and officers released custody of the child to a relative before taking English to jail.
