Fort Smith, Arkansas police are looking for a man who got away during a chase this week in a sports car that was stolen in Tulsa.

According to Tulsa police, a 2013 black Porsche was reported stolen in a home burglary in the 9300 block of South Vandalia Ave. last week.

Fort Smith officers said they tried to stop the car on Tuesday, but the driver led them on a chase. Officers ended the chase due to high speeds, but they found the car abandoned near a Fort Smith home. They said the car had false license plates.

Officers were able to identify the driver as 36-year-old Brian Christopher Jones.

Jones is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jones is asked to call Fort Smith police at 479-709-5100.
