Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are searching for two people who went missing Saturday evening in Pushmataha County. The two men are believed to have been swept away while swimming in the Kiamichi river, eight miles west of Albion.

Family members posted on Facebook that the two brothers and a friend were swimming when they got caught in the current and swept away. The girl was able to get back to shore, but the two men were not, the post states.

OHP resumed the recovery operation on Sunday morning and suspended it again at dark.

The search will continue on Monday at daybreak.
