The Oklahoma Highway Patrol worked a fatality wreck on the Creek Turnpike between Sapulpa and Jenks on Saturday night.

The crash was in the westbound direction at about mile marker 4, between 33rd West Avenue and 49th West Avenue.

Troopers say Jimmie D. Sandusky of Terlton was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle at a high rate of speed, cutting in and out of traffic. Troopers had been notified of a reckless driver, but just before they were able to stop him, he hit the back of a 2009 Saturn driven by a 17-year-old girl, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Sandusky, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene. The teen wasn't hurt.

OHP troopers say the fatal wreck is under investigation.
