The 2016 American Athletic Softball Championship begins in Tulsa in one week, on Thursday, May 12, at the Collins Family Softball Complex. All seven American Conference softball teams will arrive in Tulsa with one goal – winning the tournament championship and earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Tickets are still available for the American Athletic Conference Championship, which runs Thursday through Saturday, May 12-14. All-session tickets may still be purchased, and single session tickets are now available.
All-Session tickets are priced at $20 for adults and $10 for youth, ages 2-17. Single-Session tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for youth. A group ticket rate is available for Groups of 15 or more for $3.00 per ticket. Group tickets must be purchased in advance of the tournament.
Fans can purchase All-Session tickets online at TulsaHurricane.com, by calling 918.631.GoTU (4688) or stopping by the Reynolds Center Athletic Ticket Office, Monday-Friday, 8:30-5 p.m.
Tournament game times are slotted for Thursday for 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. The semifinal round game times on Friday are set for 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Championship game will be played on Saturday at 11 a.m. Every game of the championship will be broadcast online or on TV. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be on the American Digital Network, and the championship game will be televised on ESPN.
A full tournament bracket will be available Sunday, following the conclusion of the league regular season games.
