Tulsa Police Skeptical Of South Tulsa Robbery

Tulsa police said an incident they initially thought was a robbery at a Tulsa Walmart may not be the case after all.

The call came in shortly before 2 p.m. about the robbery, but police said the details are not adding up.

An alleged victim claims he picked up a hitchhiker somewhere in east Tulsa who needed a ride to a church, police said.

They said they also picked up a second person near Walmart.

The alleged victim claimed those people forced him to go to a credit union, take out $10,000 cash, and drop them off again at Walmart, police said.
