Tulsa Intersection Closed After SUV Hits Power Pole

The Tulsa Fire Department closed a Tulsa intersection after an SUV stuck a power pole early Wednesday.

The crash just after 6:30 a.m. happened near Haskell and North Lewis.

Police say witnesses report the SUV was headed south when it struck the pole.  They said two people in the SUV got out and left the scene.  No word if they were injured in the crash.

Officers reopened Lewis Avenue in both directions about an hour after the crash.
