A slow moving storm has moved into the Oklahoma Panhandle, bringing heavy rain that's resulted in some road closings.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Heather Lorenzen in Amarillo, Texas, says 4 1/2 inches of rain has fallen along the border of Cimarron and Texas counties in Oklahoma since Friday. A flash flood warning has been issued for the area until 4:15 p.m. Saturday.

Lorenzen says the storm is part of the same storm system that's expected to bring heavy snow to Colorado.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says U.S. Highway 412 is closed between U.S. 56 and Oklahoma 95, and Oklahoma 95 is closed north of U.S. 412 because of water over the roads.

Lorenzen said the rain is expected to continue through Wednesday as it spreads north and northeastward.

ODOT's interactive map is updated in real time to show road conditions/closings.
