Emergency crews responded to the scene of a hit-and-run involving a woman in a wheelchair.
Tulsa police, fire and EMSA responded to 400 East 46th Street North around 8:40 Monday evening.
Police said a 69-year-old woman was traveling east, crossing 46th Street North, when she was hit by an older model, single-cab red Chevy pickup going the same direction.
They said the truck did not stop and drove away. Police ask everyone to keep an eye out for the truck and say it will have obvious damage to the front, including a missing front right light.
An officer said the woman didn't have a pulse when they arrived, but were able to find it after administering CPR. In an update, police said she was admitted to the hospital with a broken leg. She is said to be stable.
Police said they are speaking with two witnesses. One witness said he saw it happen, pulled over and directed traffic until emergency crews arrived.
