Red Cross Disaster Teams Begin Tulsa Area Tornado Assessments

The Red Cross is asking residents in need of emergency help after Wednesday's tornadoes and storms to call them.  The number is 800-733-2767.
 
The Red Cross has been providing canteen support in Tulsa, Owasso and Claremore since Wednesday night. 

They also have a comfort station set up at the Antioch Baptist Church at 110 West 56th Street North for Tulsa residents.

“At this time, we have not received any guests needing emergency shelter,’ stated Regina Moon, American Red Cross serving Northeast Oklahoma Executive Director. “Our teams remain on standby if there is a need to open one for disaster victims.” 

Red Cross Disaster teams will be out Thursday conducting street by street damage assessment in Tulsa, Mayes, Nowata and Rogers counties. 

The teams will have snacks, water and needed supplies for after storm clean-up including tarps, trash bags, rakes and more.
