Rogers County Inmates Graduate With GEDs

Tuesday, five Rogers County inmates earned the chance to put a cap and gown on over their inmate clothing.

They were the first class to graduate with their GEDs from a new program at the jail.

Their instructor is from the Union Public Schools Adult Learning Center and came into the jail to hold the classes and administer the test.

Their ceremony took place in the courthouse and their families were allowed to attend.
