A Tulsa County deputy was arrested on a misdemeanor fraud charge Thursday.
According to jail records, 38-year-old Toni Ivano was arrested by another deputy at 1 p.m. on a charge of unauthorized use of a credit/debit card. He posted a $1,000 bond and was released about two hours later.
Records show he had served an 18-month deferred sentence for DUI which had ended on March 18. Court records indicate he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI in that case for an incident that happened on August 9, 2014.
Sources tell News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright that the sheriff's office got him into an employee assisted program at the time to try to get him help.
