Police: Body Found In Car Parked Just South Of Bixby Was A Suicide

Bixby Police says a body found in a car Saturday morning was an apparent suicide.

Officers were called to a rural area in the 13300 block of South Mingo Road where they found a pool of blood outside a parked car and a body inside.

The location is about a mile north of the Arkansas River.

Police said it appears a man died from a self-inflicted gunshot.
