Mother Still Seeking Answers 5 Years After Son’s Death At Lake Keystone

It’s been five years since a 19-year-old boy was found dead ten yards from shore at Lake Keystone.

Blayne Davis told his mom, Chanda Gilbert, he was going camping with two friends, but she says those two didn’t go to her son’s funeral and aren’t talking about what happened.

The medical examiner said Davis drowned, but Gilbert has no idea if there’s more to it.

She said her heart breaks as every year passes and she doesn’t have answers as to whether her son’s death was an accident, or something sinister.

She’s hoping to find those answers and is asking anyone who knows anything to contact the Osage County Sheriff's Office.
