Woman Badly Hurt In Tulsa Hit-And-Run

Tulsa Police say they've questioned a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured another woman over the weekend.

A car hit Dacia Pittsley as she crossed the street at 3rd and Elgin in downtown Tulsa on Saturday, March 5, 2016. Pittsley, a medical student, is still in the hospital.

Police say the passenger in the car that hit her later called police and gave them information. They say the driver, who works for Tulsa Public Schools, talked to police on Monday. Police said she told them she left the scene because she was under "extreme duress."

We are not identifying her because she has not been arrested or charged.

Police said they will complete their investigation and turn it over to the district attorney who will decide what charges to file.
