Former President Bill Clinton Coming To Tulsa For 'Get Out The Vote'

Not even a week after making an appearance in Oklahoma City, a former president is coming back to Oklahoma.

Thursday, it was confirmed President Bill Clinton will return to Oklahoma on February 27 for Get Out the Vote events.

According to a news release, he will hold events in central Oklahoma and Tulsa to encourage supporters to vote for Hillary Clinton in the March 1 primary. He will be at Booker T. Washington High School at 12:30 Saturday afternoon. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.

It says the former president will lay out what is at stake in the election and discuss why his wife is the best candidate.

Bill Clinton made an appearance to hundreds of people in Oklahoma City earlier this week at Northeast Academy for Get Out the Vote.

Oklahoma is getting a lot of attention from presidential candidates. Hillary Clinton’s rival, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, was in Tulsa Wednesday and spoke to thousands at the Cox Business Center. It was also announced Sanders will be in Oklahoma City at 2 p.m. at Cox Convention Center on Sunday. Doors open at 11 a.m.

Friday two Republican candidates are making appearances in Oklahoma City - Donald Trump, and Marco Rubio.

We also learned Republican Ted Cruz is working with Congressman Jim Bridenstine to organize a trip to Tulsa on Sunday. He'll be at the Central Park Hall at the Fairgrounds from 1-3 p.m.
