Tulsa Police Investigate After Neighborhood Fight, Car Crash

Tulsa police are investigating after receiving a shots fired call to the area of North Garrison Place and 59th Street North.

Officers say when they arrived, they were able to find out that no one had been shot, but someone may have fired into the air.

They said the incident began with an altercation outside a house a couple of blocks away.

A man was beaten up, got into a car and sped away, police said. For some reason, some of the people at the house ran after him, and he ended up crashing into a tree, TPD said.

The people involved in the initial altercation ran from the area, and police are looking for them.

The man who was beaten and crashed the car is at the hospital and will be interviewed by officers.
