Town Of Wann Threatened By Wildfire; Dozens Evacuated

Officials grass fires near Wann are mostly under control after the town was threatened and residents evacuated Thursday afternoon.

The Washington County Emergency Management made the announcement around 3:00 Thursday afternoon.

They said dozens of people were evacuated.

Just before 2:00 p.m. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers shut down Highway 10 near the town. It was re-opened around 4:30 p.m.

Officials also said several structures, including two mobile homes, have burned.
