Tulsa police arrested a man following a car and foot pursuit over the weekend. Boris Yeltsin Aguilar was booked into jail Saturday morning.
Officers say Aguilar was speeding and driving left of center when they tried to pull him over around 10 p.m. Friday. He turned off his headlights and sped through a neighborhood off South 66th East Avenue, an arrest report states.
The 21-year-old man finally came to a stop after swerving from one side of the road to the other, popping his right front tire on a curb, the report states.
Authorities say Aguilar got out of his car in the 700 block of South 71st East Avenue, running through a field and hopping a fence.
"After running a circle around a parked truck, Boris appeared tired and began walking," the arresting officer said in his report.
Police said Aguilar refused to get on the ground, so they Tased him. He was booked on numerous complaints including driving under the influence, eluding, resisting arrest, reckless driving, running a stop sign and driving left of center.
