Tulsa police say a woman was hit by a car after an argument at a Tulsa emergency vet. Police say a fight about a dog's illness led to the injury.
The injured woman has been taken to the hospital where she's expected to recover.
Authorities tell News On 6 two women got involved in an argument at the pet hospital on 41st Street near Highway 169. One woman called another woman names because of the dog's illness, according to police.
The woman with the dog got into her car, and another woman followed her. The second woman was struck by the car.
Police weren't sure of the extent of the injured woman's injuries but believe she'll be OK. The driver was questioned and released.
The woman who was injured contacted News On 6 and said she didn't follow the woman out to the car but was leaving after the woman's boyfriend threatened her. She also said the woman deliberately struck her with the car, breaking her ankle.
