One of the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters visited with some Tulsa elementary students Tuesday morning to talk about bullying.
When Johnny Thomas, who goes by "Hawk," isn't performing spectacular tricks with a basketball, he's helping encourage future generations to dream big.
He said his desire to help children comes from his own experiences overcoming bullying.
"Really stepped outside my comfort zone, start truly trying, not letting people tell me I couldn't do something. And now I'm a world-famous Harlem Globetrotter," Thomas said.
Hawk and his friends will be showing off their command of the court this Friday evening at the BOK Center.
