Days after a deadly bank robbery left two dead and two hurt, the town of Eufaula is still shocked and struggling to understand.
Randy Peterson, 64, died when a man came into the Bank of Eufaula and shot him point-blank on Thursday morning.
Peterson was the bank president and a well-known and well-loved member of the community.
His visitation lasts is being held on Saturday until 8 p.m.
Randy Peterson's obituary
A steady stream of people, family and friends have come to pay their respects.
Even people who didn't know Peterson wanted to say goodbye.
The town's flags are at half-staff this weekend, per the mayor's orders, in memory of Peterson.
That's how important he was to this town.
Many people shared memories of Peterson signing their first loans to open a business or buy a car.

Shantel Keith said Peterson was her church's loan officer and a dear friend.
“I just wanted to come and say my final goodbye and just pay respect and just let the family know he is so loved,” Keith said. “I'm sure they already knew that. Everybody loved him.”
Peterson's funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.
Eufaula Public Schools will not have class that day so that faculty can attend. Peterson was a graduate of Eufaula High School, a town where he chose to raise his two daughters with his wife.
Coming up tonight at 10 p.m., we’ll share more memories of Peterson.
