A blizzard hitting the East Coast of the U.S. is led to thousands of flight cancellations. About 7,600 flights were canceled Friday and Saturday - about 15 percent of the airlines' schedules, according to the flight tracking service FlightAware.
The airlines say they hope to be fully back in business by Sunday afternoon.
In Oklahoma, the snow on the East Coast isn't affecting too many flights yet. Checking with Tulsa International Airport all departures were on time so far Saturday. An American Airlines flight that was supposed to arrive from Charlotte Saturday afternoon has been cancelled.
The airport and the airlines advise travelers to check the status of your flight and connecting flights before heading to the airport.
