Bands of light wintry precipitation moving through Green Country overnight will cause some travel concerns, especially north of Tulsa.

Travel advisories are in place until 6 a.m. Thursday morning for southeastern Kansas counties and far northeastern Oklahoma counties - Ottawa and Delaware.

News On 6 Meteorologist Stacia Knight says drivers should be extra cautious on bridges and overpasses.

Thunder and lightning has been occurring in some locations, but nothing is severe and is not expected to be.

Temperatures should warm to above freezing by late Thursday morning but another chance for wintry weather will move through again Thursday evening.
