The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested a man after a high-speed chase through Tulsa and on the Turner Turnpike.
Troopers identify the suspect as Justin Corley, 28, of Owasso.
Troopers said the chase began at Interstate 44 near Highway 169 when Tulsa Police. Police terminated the chase, but five minutes later OHP troopers spotted the same car headed west on I-44 at Highway 75.
Troopers tried to stop the car, but they said Corley sped away. The OHP said troopers eventually used a tactical vehicle intervention maneuver to stop Corley's vehicle near Kellyville just before 4 a.m.
Troopers said Corley became combative after his arrest and had to be transferred to another police vehicle.
The OHP booked Justin Corley into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of eluding, aggravated assault and battery on a police officer, DUI and running a road block. Jail records show he is being held on a $23,500 bond with a court appearance set for January 22.
According to court records, Corley has several burglary convictions in Tulsa County and was currently out on probation.
