Tulsa Police Name Person Of Interest In Fatal Shooting

Police are investigating a fatal shooting Saturday morning in Tulsa. It happened at the Comanche Park Apartments in the 1300 block of East 38th Street North.

Officers say a wounded man was lying in the parking lot when they arrived around 10:30 a.m. 

Detectives have identified Mario Faulk as a person of interest in the shooting. The 32-year-old man may be driving a 2008 gold Dodge Caliber with Oklahoma tags 429 LMV.

EMSA medics worked to save the shooting victim who was taken to the hospital. He has since been pronounced dead, according to Corporal R.L. Brown.

Police said the shooting started as a fight between two men.

"This is all going to be stemming from a domestic situation, not between a man and a woman, but old boyfriend/new boyfriend situation," Brown said. He said detectives are interviewing people who witnessed the shooting and the girlfriend.

Police say Faulk is the current boyfriend of a woman who lives in the apartment complex. The victim has a child with the woman.

"Faulk has not been located, and he has been told that the police are looking for him," a wanted bulletin states.

Sgt. Dave Walker says homicide investigators have been in contact with Faulk, but he refuses to surrender.

He should be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach and call 911 if you see him, TPD says.
