Bradley Bourgeois, Geoffrey Dee and Juan Sanchez were tabbed to the 2015 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer All-East Region Team, as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Bourgeois was a first-team selection while both Dee and Sanchez were tabbed to the third team.
Bourgeois, a senior defender from Cypress, Texas, was the 2015 American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, the Most Outstanding Defensive Player of The American Tournament, and was tabbed to the all-conference first team and all-tournament team this past season. He also picked up College Soccer News Team of the Week honors on Nov. 16 and Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week accolades on Sept. 15, as well as was a Senior CLASS Award candidate. Bourgeois, who started in every game of his career, had four goals and contributed to three clean sheets this year.
A sophomore midfielder from Germantown, Tenn., Dee started in all 21 games this season. He tallied the second-most goals on the year with six and had a team-high six assists for 18 points. Dee attempted 55 shots, 22 of which were on goal, and had one game-winner. He was tabbed to The American second-team all-conference and picked up all-tournament team accolades.
Sanchez, a freshman forward from Ossining, N.Y., also started all 21 games on the year. He had a team-leading eight goals and 19 points while contributing three assists. He attempted 30 shots, 16 of which were on goal, for the second-best shots-on-goal percentage at 53.3-percent. For his efforts, Sanchez was named The American Rookie of the Year, and picked up second-team all-conference and all-Rookie team honors.
