High water has caused some Green Country road closures Sunday. The Department of Public Safety sent out a bulletin that State Highway 28 in Rogers County is closed due to water across the roadway.

The section of road is about five miles south of Chelsea near County Road EW380. Troopers are checking the area for other road closures.

The Oologah area is experiencing some flash flooding on Vera Road just east of town. Owassoisms reports high water in front of Centennial Park and covering the road at 96th Street North and 154th East Avenue.

The City of Miami said State Highway 69A north of the turnpike gate was closed earlier Sunday but has been re-opened.

A flash flood watch is in effect through noon Sunday.
