Public Service Company of Oklahoma reports power has been restored to thousands of customers in the Broken Arrow area Thursday morning.
The utility says a transmission line failed at a substation that serves the east side of Broken Arrow. The outage initially left 5,300 customers without power.
Meanwhile, about 1,200 customers in the Oneta area lost power after a vehicle hit a power pole. PSO expects to have those customers back on line by early afternoon.
