In its most recent edition, a magazine ranked Tulsa’s BOK Center as one of the industry’s "Top Stops."
Based on concerts and event grosses from September 16, 2015, through October 15, 2015, Venues Today ranked the BOK Center 12th in the world and 8th in the United States for venues with a capacity of 15,001 or more.
General Manager Jeff Nickler said it shows what a strong fan-base the center has; and that after seven years, there are no signs of slowing down.
“It’s amazing that after seven years, BOK Center is stronger than ever and not looking to slow down anytime soon,” he said. “We couldn’t do what we do without our loyal fans in the community who come out show after show and promoters who continue to believe in the Tulsa market and the BOK Center.”
During the time considered for the study, the BOK Center hosted events including Florida Georgia Line, Ariana Grande, Def Leppard and the Thunder, Mavericks pre-season game.
Madison Square Garden in New York was the top spot on the list and another Oklahoma arena, the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City placed at 35th in the world.
