A man wanted for a murder in McAlester earlier this week surrendered to police Thursday morning.
McAlester Police said they booked Garrett Freeman, 29, into jail on $500,000 bond.
The investigation began early Tuesday morning after police were called to a residence in the 400 block of East Comanche. They found a man had been shot in the head. They later identified him as Christopher Blanton.

Blanton and Freeman had a disagreement over money, according to police.
Police said another man wanted in the case has been cleared. Johnathon Powell surrendered to police on Wednesday and detectives questioned then released him, police said.
