Driver Dies In Crash On 46th Street North In Tulsa

Tulsa Police said one person died in a two-vehicle crash that shut down 46th St North east of 138th East Avenue Wednesday at about 11:45 a.m.

Video from Osage SkyNews 6 HD showed the crash involved two vehicles; a four-door work truck and a passenger car.

Police said one of the vehicles was on fire when they arrived. They said witnesses told them the car was eastbound when it went out of control, crossed over the center line, went into a broad slide and was hit by the truck.

The driver of the car was dead at the scene, according to police, the driver of the truck had injuries to his lower body.

Police have not released the identities of the people involved.
