Police arrested a man on an outstanding warrant early Wednesday after University of Tulsa campus security spotted him trying to steal a bicycle.

Security stopped Vysean Ervin, 19, and called for Tulsa Police.

Police arrived and were going to cite him for larceny, when they learned Ervin had an outstanding warrant.  After he was handcuffed, Ervin ran off and police called for help from the police helicopter and a K-9 officer who found him hiding behind a vacant home at 6th and Delaware.

Vysean Ervin was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of false impersonation, escape from arrest and larceny.  Jail records show he has a court appearance set for October 28.
