Driver Found Shot To Death After Tulsa Car Crash

Police say a man is dead after a car crash early Wednesday at 41st West Avenue and West Independence Street near Edison.

Officers said a 911 caller reported a car had crashed into a fence in front of a west Tulsa home at about 3:15 a.m.  When police arrived they found the unidentified driver dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police Sgt. Dave Walker says the man was shot from outside the car.  

Investigators are now looking for possible suspects in the neighborhood including searching the home where the crash happened.  So far, Walker says no one has been arrested.

The name of the victim has not been released.
